You should replace your battery if your battery will not charge properly.

This is how you can find out if your battery is bad: Connect the charger to your hoverboard to charge. If the green indicator light on the charger box stays green, turn the hoverboard on while the charger is still connected. If the hoverboard turns on, you would get a flashing orange battery indicator on the hoverboard. Keep the charger connected for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, disconnect the charger while the hoverboard is on. If the hoverboard turns off then you know your battery is bad.
